Shocking new footage reveals a new level of neglect by some parents when it comes to children swimming.
At a South Carolina wave-pool, a three year-old girl began drowning as enormous waves started to take her body under, video footage from the Daily Mail shows. A lifeguard on duty spotted the child and immediately rescued her.
The lifeguard, after the rescue said he could not believe the neglect of the child. Her family was nowhere even to be found around the wave-pool.
“I had to walk this 3-year-old girl around until I could find her family,” the lifeguard said. “They had no idea she was missing. I have been doing this for 18 years and I am still amazed by the lack of supervision some kids get around the water.”Â
