A Telemundo reporter was viciously attacked in Philadelphia during a live shot out side City Hall.

Telemundo 61 reporter Iris Delgado was wrapping up a live report when a large African-American woman wearing a green shirt approached her and began interrupting, the Daily Caller reported.

“Excuse me, excuse me,” the woman said, before turning to speak to someone off screen.

The woman then turned back to Delgado and, without saying a word, cold-cocked her in the face. “Ay dios mio!” the reporter yells, which translates to “Oh, my gosh!”

It is not clear what the attacker took issue with or whether she was apprehended by law enforcement.

Perhaps it can be chalked up to a sad sign of the times.
