Hillary blathers incoherently when asked how her economy would differ from President Obama’s

Hillary Clinton was just asked how her economy would be different and better than Obama’s dismal, jobless economy but instead of answering, she went on a long, winding, filibuster-like monologue that came nowhere near answering the question.

Obama likes to run around claiming he has “saved” the country with his tax-and-spend economic policies even though growth has been anemic during his whole reign, even though desirable full-time jobs are still far and few between, even though more Americans than ever have simply given up even looking for a job, even though retailers have been closing stores by the thousands and shedding jobs by the tens of thousands, and even though Obamacare has pretty much killed employment in the country.

So, with all that on his plate, Fox News’ Bret Baier asked Hillary Clinton on “Special Report” how her economic ideas would be better than the dismal record Obama has realized.

“You have said that President Obama got the country out of an economic ditch,” the Fox host began. “If you look at the polls, the average of recent polls, the right direction/wrong direction, 65% of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction. So what specifically would you do differently with the economy than President Obama has done?”

But, Hillary really didn’t have an answer and instead went on a minutes-long ramble that didn’t answer the question.

Hillary began trying to defend Obama instead of telling what she would do.

“Well, I think that 76 months of job creation is a good start,” Clinton insisted (and wrongly, I might add).

Baier, though, pressed on his question. “Well it’s just not different. What specifically would you do differently than the Obama administration?” Baier asked.

Then Clinton wound up into her soliloquy that had lots of words but said nothing. She talked about “big ditches” and then said Obama had a recovery. But then turned around and contradicted that by saying *not everyone* had experienced a recovery–so which is it, Hilary? Has there been a recovery or not?

Then she indulged the usual Democrat solutions to a failed economy and that is big taxes and higher government spending. She attacked Republicans for not spending enough of “big infrastructure plans” and said she would spend billions on “our roads, our bridges, our tunnels, our ports, our airports, our water systems.”

At some point, Bret Baier just gave up and let it go. It was clear that Hillary’s plans were no different at all than Obama’s and we already know how Obama’s plans have failed.
