Trump TapperCNN anchor Jake Tapper tried to paint Donald Trump as a racist by asking the same question 23 times and he wouldn’t let go.

“Let me ask you about comments you made about the judge in the Trump University case,” Tapper said. “You said that you thought it was a conflict of interest that he was the judge because he is of Mexican heritage, even though he is from Indiana. Hillary Clinton said that that is a racist attack on a federal judge.”

Trump gave numerous examples of how he believes U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel gave him “unfair rulings” but Tapper hammered the question again and again.

Tapper asked Trump why he mentioned the fact that Curiel is of Mexican descent at all, as if he had no idea how that could affect a case against Trump, who has been adamant about building a border wall with Mexico.

“If he was giving me a fair ruling, I wouldn’t say that,” Trump said. “I think that’s why he’s doing it.”

Tapper pointed out that Curiel was born in Indiana and is an American, the same argument Megyn Kelly made, suggesting his heritage had no relevance.

“I’m building a wall. I’m trying to keep business out of Mexico. Mexico’s fine,” Trump told Tapper. “He’s of Mexican heritage, and he’s very proud of it, as I am of where I come from.”

Curiel is a member of the La Raza Lawyers of San Diego. A group that gave a law school scholarship to an illegal alien, the Daily Caller reported.

How tough could it be for Tapper to see a conflict of interest there?
