Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson admitted that he might like to add a political title to his resume.

The former wrestler and box-office star said he finds the idea of a political office an “alluring” one, in an interview with British GQ.

“I’ll be honest, I haven’t ruled politics out,” said Johnson. “I’m not being coy when I say that, but at the moment I am not sure.”

While Johnson is a Republican, his views are rather moderate, with most of his financial contributions being non-partisan and educational in nature.

The magazine’s cover star said he is drawn by the idea of making “a real impact” as a politician.

“I can’t deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring,” he said.  “And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives on a global scale.”

For now, however, the very busy actor is involved in multiple projects, including several films and the second season of his HBO show, “Ballers.”

He he may someday join the list of other actors who pivoted to a political career, like Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger. But he is apparently in no hurry, admitting “there are a lot of other things I want to do first.”
