After Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s estranged wife, claimed to be a domestic violence victim at the hands of Depp, his former wife has stepped up to say, not so fast, sister!

Lori Anne Allison, who was married to the actor from 1983 to 1985, said that during their relationship Depp never once laid a hand on her — he never even raised his voice, she told friends, according to TMZ.

She referred to him as a “soft person” with everyone — including animals, and claimed that Depp was more loving toward their family dog than most parents are to their children.

The two have remained friends for the 31 years since their divorce. Allison called Depp as recently as last week after his mother’s death to commiserate with him.

Heard received a restraining order against Depp, claiming he went on a tirade and struck her. She offered a photo as proof, which suggests facial bruising. However, when police were called to the couple’s apartment, they saw no signs of injury or a struggle.
