Channeling his inner-Ronald Reagan, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was photographed grabbing a quick meal from McDonald’s while on the campaign trail.
President Reagan stopped in at a McDonald’s restaurant in Tuscaloosa, Ala., in October 1984 for a bite to eat, Gateway Pundit astutely pointed out.
The difference being that Trump appears to be eating his fast food meal on Trump Force One, according to a photo posted on his Instagram account, while Reagan shocked reporters and diners alike by actually going inside the restaurant to order a Big Mac, large fries and a sweet tea, the Tuscaloosa News reported — the president even stood in line.
The photo, posted the same day Trump secured the number of delegates needed to win the Republican nomination, included the caption: “Celebrating 1237! #Trump2016.”
