With one foot seemingly already out the door, President Barack Obama will lease a home in Washington, D.C.’s Kalorama neighborhood when his second term expires on January 20, 2017.

And he will continue to live large.

The $5 million mansion, built in 1928, has nine bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, CNN reported.

Obama will break precedent with most former presidents and remain in Washington so his daughter, Sasha, can finish school — ironically, the last to do so was Woodrow Wilson, often seen as the father of today’s progressive movement.

“We’re going to have to stay a couple of years in D.C. probably so Sasha can finish,” Obama said in March. “Transferring someone in the middle of high school? Tough.”

Sasha, who attends a private school, will be a sophomore in high school when Obama departs the White House.

The 8,200-square-foot mansion fit for a king is owned by Joe Lockhart, who declined comment when contacted by CNN.

Dispelling the myth of the humble public servant, Lockhart served as White House press secretary under former President Bill Clinton.

Here are additional photos — they appear to be commercial retail from 2013 — of the Obamas new spread:
