We are officially in Bizarro World.

Giant grocery store security guard Francine Jones was arrested for assault after removing a man from the women’s bathroom on Thursday, the Associated Press reported.

The assault is listed on the police report as a “potential hate crime,” according to the AP.

It started when a 32-year-old man who goes by the name Ebony Belcher walked past Jones in the supermarket and into the bathroom.

That’s when Belcher said Jones followed him in and dragged him out when he refused to leave. Belcher said the guard told her, “You guys cannot keep coming in here and using our women’s restroom. They did not pass the law yet.”

“She said to me that ‘I’m tired of you guys keep coming in here, using the women’s bathroom. I know you’re a man, you he-she,’” the man told WJZ-TV.

He claimed Jones “then grabbed me by my arm, spun me around, grabbed me right behind my back and forcibly pushed me out the Giant.”

Belcher told WJZ-TV that he suffers from Parkinson’s Disease and nearly fell when she dragged him out of the store.

He said he is now having nightmares about the encounter.

“This has never, ever, ever happened to me,” he said. “It shouldn’t be this way. This has to stop.”

And Giant can now be added to the list of stores that think it’s OK to allow men in women’s bathrooms as the company issued a statement apologizing.

“Giant has a longstanding commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment in which all associates and all customers are treated fairly and with respect at all times,” the statement read. “We view the choice of restroom as a personal matter, and if any customer feels uncomfortable at any point shopping in our stores for any reason, we encourage them to speak to a member of store management, who have both the experience and the discretion to address all issues.”
