A Chicago man running from police caused a commotion on the Dan Ryan Expressway Tuesday morning.

Illinois State Police were called around 6 a.m.about a man, later identified as Anthony Allen, 39, who was jumping from local lanes to express lanes and to the CTA Red Line train tracks, WGNTV reported.

When confronted by the authorities the man continued his erratic behavior and proved elusive to catch for a while.

Eventually, with the help of some Illinois Department of Transportation trucks and the man’s own sagging pants, he was tackled by officers.

He was brought to the St. Bernard Hospital and is in good condition, according to WGNTV.
