“Happy Days’ actor Scott Baio was a guest Saturday on Fox News’ “Cashin’ In” and he went to great lengths to explain why he is such a big supporter of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“There’s no B.S., I understand him when he talks,” said the actor who went on to star in “Joanie Loves Chachi.”

Baio had no problem identifying which side of the political aisle he stands on.

“Whomever the Democrat nominee is, he’s gonna beat the crap out of him,” he said. “Which is what we need, instead of us getting the crap beat out of us.”

He said he liked Trump’s policy proposals, but would not call him a “typical Republican.”

“He’s sort of, you can’t put a label on the guy, which I love,” Baio said. “And because the media has stigmatized the Republican brand, he’s smart not to cozy up to these guys.”

And the actor made it clear that he’s a fan.

“He’s unique, he’s refreshing, he’s exciting,” Baio said of Trump. “I love to hear him talk and I’m excited about the guy.”

Spreading the love a little, Baio ended the interview by saying he has Fox News Channel on 24/7.
