One thing the 2016 presidential race has revealed is that apparently whatever Donald Trump does, people seem not to be surprised.
“Nothing is unbelievable anymore, especially when it comes to Donald Trump,” said Jimmy Kimmel, host of the ABC late night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
In a show segment titled “Lie Witness News,” pedestrians were asked for their reactions to fabricated vice presidential picks by Donald Trump. The presumptive Republican nominee has not announced a running mate yet, but that certainly did not prevent people from weighing in.
One passer-by reacted to the “news” that Trump had picked his daughter Ivanka as vice president.
“In my mind,” he said, “this can’t possibly hurt him and his chances of having me vote for him on election day.”
