White House spox tries to defend herself after landing in center of scandal, but it only gets worse for her

White House Communications Director, Jen Psaki, stepped forward in the unfolding controversy over the Iran deal deception by the Obama administration.

Following a New York Times interview with Obama’s foreign policy adviser Ben Rhodes, in which he practically boasted about the false information fed to the media on the deal struck with Iran, the White House was unable to deny the claims.

Psaki, who previously served as a spokesperson for the State Department, weighed in on the attacks on Rhodes.

Social media users saw through the spin in Psaki’s post, however.
