Surveillance video captured the dramatic moment in a Maryland parking lot when police surrounded a federal officer wanted for first degree murder.
Closed circuit security cameras showed 62-year-old Eulalio Tordil, an officer working for the Federal Protective Service, getting in his car at a shopping center before law enforcement officials cornered him.
Tordil was arrested Friday following a shooting spree that left three people dead, including his estranged wife.
Police watched and waited as the suspect ate lunch at a local restaurant a short distance from the scene of one of the shootings. They quickly boxed him in after he entered his car preparing to drive away.
