An Ohio gas station manager gave a would-be robber the lesson of his life.

Surveillance footage of the incident showed the female manager brutalizing the thief, repeatedly slamming a fire extinguisher on his back.

The attempted robbery happened Wednesday night at a Toledo Sunoco gas station store.

The assailant asked an 8-months pregnant clerk to swipe his card and when she opened the register drawer he hopped over the counter and went for the cash, pushing and shoving the pregnant clerk in the process, Fox News reported.

The female store manager and a male employee rushed in to help their colleague, with the manager nailing the thug with a barrage of shots.

The thief did manage to escape with $500 in cash, and his life.

He is still at large.
