If Donald Trump’s rise to the GOP nomination proves nothing else, it’s that conservative columnist Ann Coulter knows what she’s talking about.

She may rub you the wrong way when she blurts them out, but the sassy conservative’s opinions have merit.

Back in June of 2015, Coulter went on “Real Time with Bill Maher” and predicted that Trump would be the only republican candidate who could beat Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton.

“Ann, which republican candidate has the best chance of winning the general election,” Maher asked.

“Of the declared ones, right now, Donald Trump,” Coulter responded as the liberal talk show crowd and other panelists roared with laughter and disbelief at her answer.

Check out the exchange here:

This isn’t the first time Coulter’s predictions have become a reality.

Before the 2012 presidential election against Mitt Romney and Pres. Obama, Coulter said that if the GOP ran Romney as the nominee instead of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, they would lose.

Turns out, that was true.

Also in 2015, Coulter said socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders I-Vt would be a much harder candidate to run against than Hillary Clinton. At the time, Sanders had hardly any name recognition.

Fast-forward to 2016 and many polls, as well as insiders of the Democratic primary believe that to be true.

Is there something Coulter knows that the rest of us don’t?
