Cost for each illegal minor may have Americans with Social Security benefits seeing red

Taxpayers are once again about to get shafted.

American taxpayers will soon be billed $1.3 billion, about $17,613 for each illegal immigrant minor who entered the country from Central America, thanks to President Obama’s latest budget proposal, according to new analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies.

The massive expenditure for illegal immigrants is more than double what the federal government spent in 2010 and the amount per illegal immigrant now surpasses what the government pays on average annually to Social Security beneficiaries, which is typically $14,772.

Additionally, the budget proposal spends about $2.1 billion on refugees, but those refugees can also include illegal immigrants from Central America.

Even more alarming is that the Obama administration is devoting more and more resources to a joint program with the United Nations to bring illegal immigrants into the country as refugees, so that they do not have to take on the arduous journey that comes with crossing the U.S. Southern border.

Instead, those illegal immigrants will be granted plane rides into the country. For that US-UN joint program known as the Unaccompanied Children (UC) program, the Obama is requesting another $1.2 billion in funding from taxpayers.
