Tom Hanks seems pretty confident about Donald Trump’s chances of becoming president in November.
“I think that man will be president of the United States right about the time that spaceships come down filled with dinosaurs in red capes,” he told Sky News.
Hanks has dismissed the idea of Trump as president before. As BPR reported last week, Hanks said “America’s going to be fine” in an interview with CBS News. “We’ve worked ourselves out of holes many, many times over and over again.”
At the London premiere of his new film, “A Hologram For The King,” Hanks addressed the GOP front-runner’s campaign slogan with Sky News.
“Here’s the problem,” Hanks said. “America’s already great, so I don’t know what he is talking about.”
Hanks, who is a supporter of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton like much of Hollywood, apparently is not worried about Trump winning the election. “Take it from me,” he said, laughing off the very idea of a Trump presidency.
