On Wednesday, the MaryLynn Magar Campaign announced that BIZPAC has endorsed her bid for re-election to the Florida House of Representatives. First elected in 2012, Magar is seeking a third term in the Florida House. BIZPAC is the nonpartisan political action committee of Palm Beach County.
“MaryLynn Magar has been a trusted and reliable supporter of the business community, and we are very happy to support her campaign for re-election,” said Sam Ellington, President of the BIZPAC Board of Trustees. “As a business owner herself, she knows firsthand the devastating effects that heavy-handed government intervention has on economic growth. She has consistently fought for policies that support free enterprise, and we look forward to continuing to work with her.”
BIZPAC is known as the voice of business in the political arena. It has a history of organizing and unifying the Palm Beach business community to take action on issues important to the local economy. It is committed to encouraging ethical campaign standards and supporting business-friendly candidates who bring sound business and management principles to the governing process.
“I am honored to have the backing of BIZPAC,” said Magar. “Everybody wins when our business community flourishes, and I’ll continue to work for policies that make it easier for businesses to expand and hire more people. I look forward to working with BIZPAC to make our local and state economy even stronger.”
