Shocking text messages from Jared Fogle were released by prosecutors earlier this week justifying the more-than maximum sentence the former Subway pitchman was given.
Legal documents filed by the U.S. Attorney to block Fogle’s appeal to dismiss his 15.6 year sentence revealed text messages he had sent to a woman who procured minors for the convicted pedophile, TMZ reported.
“Is your Asian friend available?” Fogle asked in one message. “I’ll pay you big for a 14 or 15-year-old.”
The messages reveal the depravity of the two haggling over prices, with Fogle indicating he would pay $400 for a child 16 or younger, according to TMZ.
“Do you have any access to any young girls? Like 15 or 16?” he asked the woman, who responded, “Why, baby?”
“Cause it’s what I crave,” Fogle texted back.
The former Subway spokesman has been in jail since November on charges of child pornography and crossing state lines to pay for sex with minors.
