Donald Trump made an embarrassing gaffe at a rally Monday night in Buffalo and his detractors were quick to jump on it.

“I watched our police and our firemen down on 7-Eleven, down at the World Trade Center, right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action. I saw the bravest people I’ve ever seen.” he told the crowd.

There’s no way around it. It was a brutal mistake in front of a New York crowd.

Who knows why he would make such a slip of the tongue but obviously he knows when 9/11 occurred as he’s talked about it countless times.

The crowd largely let the slip go, but the Trump haters on social media couldn’t resist an opportunity to blow it out of proportion and showed off some photo editing skills.

Many were able to see it as a simple mistake and wondered why the media jumped on that while ignoring bigger news.
