A gun-toting criminal got more than he bargained for at the hands of a woman carrying a baby.
AÂ man clad in all black barged into a restaurant in Normandy, France, and pointed a gun at the head of a woman holding her baby and demanded cash.
Unintimidated, the woman handed the baby to who were presumably its parents and pushed the attacker’s gun away before hitting him with his own bag and belting him with a series of smacks, according to The Local.
“You’re not in a bank here, it’s stupid,” she yelled. “Stop pointing that gun at me.”
The daring woman and another patron pushed the man out the door with his weapon later found to be loaded with blanks.
The criminal fled the scene on his scooter but was arrested when he inexplicably returned to apologize.
“I think he understood the gravity of the situation and thought he could get away with an apology,” he told The Local.
