Saturday Night Live started off this week’s show with a treat for fans of the 1990’s sitcom Seinfeld.

The sketch comedy show lampooned Thursday’s Democrat presidential debate in Brooklyn where the candidates Hillary Clinton, played by Kate McKinnon, and Bernie Sanders, played by Seinfeld creator Larry David, came to blows over the issues.

Candidates were told they were going to take questions from average New Yorkers, among them “Seinfeld” character Elaine Benes, played by this week’s SNL host Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

“Seinfeld” jokes, and hilarity, ensued.
