Tax Day revealed some surprising details in Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ returns.
The tax returns released by Sanders Friday drew attention for several reasons, notably how little he pays in taxes.

In fact, it seems Sanders paid even less than 2012 candidate Mitt Romney, who was criticized by Obama during the campaign for paying less than the average citizen.
