GOP front-runner Donald Trump may not need all 1,237 delegates to become the Republican nominee for president.

Republican National Committee (RNC) member Randy Evans unearthed a shocking truth about Trump’s candidacy on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” saying the New York businessman could secure the nomination with only 1,100 delegates.

“If Donald Trump exceeds 1,100 votes, he will become the nominee even though he may not have 1,237,” said Evans to host Joe Scarborough.

The revelation comes after Trump hinted to CNN’s Anderson Cooper Tuesday night that the RNC was actively trying to steal the nomination from him, citing that the recent Colorado convention was “stacked against me by the establishment.”
