Actor and former Calvin Klein model Antonio Sabato Jr. says Donald Trump is a man he can trust.
Sabato, known for his roles on television shows such as “General Hospital,” told Fox News’ “Outnumbered” on Friday that the Republican presidential candidate may not be perfect, but “at the end of the day he’s honest.”
He could not say the same for rival candidate Sen. Ted Cruz. “I cannot trust Cruz,” he said. “There’s something about him.”
“I think Cruz wouldn’t be into the fight if it wasn’t for Trump at this point. If Trump wasn’t in the race at all I don’t think you’d see Cruz,” said Sabato, adding that he was confident Trump would win the primary races in New York and California.
“It’s tough for Trump,” Sabato said. “His party doesn’t want him. The Democrats don’t want him. But the people want him. At the end of the day the people will vote. I will vote for Trump. I’m behind him 100%.”
