Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is sounding the alarm that democracy is in jeopardy.
Holder served as President Obama’s top law enforcement officer before leaving amid a string of controversies and scandals, including being held in contempt of Congress for failing to respond to a subpoena requesting documents on the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal.
The former attorney general took to Twitter on Tuesday to lament that “Our democracy is being stolen.”
Arizona, now Wisconsin. Ridiculously long lines. Too few polling places. New voter ID laws. Our democracy is being stolen. Let people vote!
— Eric Holder (@EricHolder) April 6, 2016
Holder apparently failed to make the connection that longer lines could be due to record voter turnout instead.
Nonstop whining out of Wisconsin suggesting voters are being disenfranchised against the backdrop of RECORD BREAKING TURNOUT in Wisconsin.
