Trump campaign manager ‘arrested’, charged with battery; video of alleged assault released

Donald Trump‘s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski has been charged in the alleged battery of Michelle Fields.

CNBC announced Lewandowski was arrested in Florida Tuesday morning.

Fields, a former reporter for Breitbart, accused Lewandowski of violently grabbing and pulling her at an event in Jupiter, Florida, on March 8.

Lewandowski has been charged with misdemeanor battery, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Surveillance video of the alleged assault was also released today on social media by BNO News.

The Trump campaign issued a statement proclaiming Lewandowski’s innocence.

Trump campaign communications manager Hope Hicks disputed the report and told CNBC “he was not arrested.” But many sources reported otherwise:
