He made her an offer she did refuse — hilariously.
An unnamed woman used dialogue from the blockbuster hit “The Godfather” after she was bluntly propositioned for sex by someone she had just met on the dating website OKCupid.
“You come to me, and you say: ‘Don Corleone, can I have sex with you?’ But you don’t ask with respect. You don’t offer friendship. You don’t even think to call me Godfather,” she wrote.
The quote comes from the scene where character Amerigo Bonasera (which means goodnight in Italian) asks Don Corleone to kill two men who went free after sexually assaulting his daughter.
The man apparently was not familiar with the movie, who said she was “scaring me a lot.”
The woman posted a picture of the conversation to an Instagram page named “Bye Felipe,” a page designed to ridicule men who become rude or volatile after propositioning women who ignore or reject the offer.
