A motorist in Arizona had clearly had his fill of anti-Trump protesters blocking the highway leading to Donald Trump’s Fountain Hills rally Saturday and decided to drive right through the angry crowd.
His actions drew little more than a shrug from a Maricopa County Sheriff’s Deputy trying to corral the protesters.
The Arizona Republic posted a video of the moment on Facebook — the footage captured the terror of the protesters … and the deputy’s shrug.
“That’s attempted murder! That’s attempted murder!” a woman can be heard shouting in the video.
“Make sure you’re taking pictures,” another person said.
A woman is captured screaming at deputies to make sure people are not being run over, saying “that’s your responsibility!”
After the vehicle drives away, an officer can be heard telling other deputies on the scene “no more cars.”
