Delusional Hillary touts US has done ‘really good job’ securing border; ticked ranchers say otherwise

She should have talked to a few Arizona ranchers before she made that claim.

Hillary Clinton demonstrated just how delusional she is Thursday when she told an Arizona radio station that the Obama administration has done a knock-out job of securing the southern border with Mexico.

Days before the Arizona primary, the former secretary of state talked comprehensive immigration reform and border security to KTAR’s Lauren Grifo. Both issues are of concern to voters of Arizona, a border state.

“I think we’ve done a really good job securing the border,” she told the radio host in a telephone interview. “I think that those who say we haven’t are not paying attention to what was done the last 15 years under President [George W.] Bush and President [Barack] Obama.”

She claimed that a combination of added border agents along with additional obstructions along the border have contributed to this.

Immigration from Mexico has dropped considerably,” she said. ”It’s just not happening anymore.”

Her remarks echoed those she made at the March 6 CNN debate. At that event, she said they’d done “a good job.” Now it’s been upgraded to “a really good job.”

The Democratic presidential front-runner also touched on the economy, always of concern, and gun control, stating that she wants to increase liability against gun manufacturers and dealers. She’ll face off against Sen. Bernie Sanders in Arizona’s March 22 primary.

Arizona ranchers along the southern border have relayed horror stories, including kidnapping by drug runners, while federal authorities offered little or no help, The Daily Wire reported earlier this month.

“The folks down there have never gotten any relief from illegal crossings,” said Caren Cowan, executive director of the Albuquerque-based New Mexico Cattle Growers’ Association, The Daily Wire reported. “And things have ramped up. These people are desperate. They are absolutely desperate.

“We have had countless meetings with government agencies over the years, and I say this with all due respect, all we hear about is what they are trying to do and nothing gets done.”

In response to ongoing stories like this, former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer announced that she was throwing her support behind Donald Trump for one reason — this administration’s lack of security along the U.S.-Mexican border.

The Republican politician tweeted late last month:

Folks on social media couldn’t believe what they were hearing.
