When Fox News host Bill O’Reilly called out Univision for taking an anti-Donald Trump position on immigration, Univision host Jorge Ramos turned the tables and called out the network for being too soft on the Republican front-runner.
“You have to take a stand when it comes to racism,” Ramos said of Trump. “You’ve talked to him so many times, and you and Sean Hannity, you let him get away with anything.”
O’Reilly continued to press.
“Every time you mention Donald Trump, you’re going to have to put on the screen, ‘We think he’s a racist,’” he told Ramos, adding that “I’m not promoting Donald Trump in any way, shape, or form.”
When he asked him how his network could cover Trump fairly if he becomes the Republican nominee, Ramos shot back that they’re equally tough on Democratic candidates.
“We’re doing exactly the same with the Democrats,” he said. He added that as for Trump, “I don’t know what’s in his heart, but I know what’s coming out of his mouth.”
