If you thought the anti-Trump riots in Chicago were unruly, just wait until you hear what may be coming.
Some of the same far-left groups behind the Chicago mayhem are gearing up for a bigger blowout scheduled to begin next month, Breitbart reported.
“We will demand a Congress that will take immediate action to end the corruption of big money in our politics and ensure free and fair elections in which every American has an equal voice,” the action group named Democracy Spring noted on its website.
Democracy Spring is backed by some pretty big money itself including George Soros-funded groups, MoveOn.org, the Institute for Political Studies, and Demos, according to Breitbart.
The campaign is set to start April 2nd and is calling for pledges to march from the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia to Washington, D.C. A “peaceful” sit-in is to take place at the U.S. Capitol, although organizers warn participants to anticipate arrest.
The movement’s website dramatically calls for the voice of every American to be heard yet is ironically backed by numerous big-government self-proclaimed socialist organizations. It also gives accolades to the “nonviolent” actions of Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter.
The campaign promises “drama” on a “historic scale” that Congress will not be able to ignore. “We will demand that Congress listen to the People and take immediate action to save our democracy. And we won’t leave until they do.”
Over 100 organized groups have signed on to support the campaign, and it’s nearly reached its 3,000 pledge goal. But digitally signing a pledge sheet is a whole lot different than showing up and marching a long trek with too few Starbucks in between.
Still, it’s better to have the popcorn ready just in case.
The group promises that “the stage is set for bold intervention to turn the tinder of passive public frustration into a fire that transforms the political climate in America.”
Of course, the professional protesters will never admit that the “fire of transformation” was set by President Obama nearly 8 years ago when he assumed office on the promise to do just that.
We’ve all been enduring the dismal “hope and change” ever since. It’s amazing to see so many of his indoctrinated followers, blinded by a raging race and class warfare, orchestrate a march to D.C. to demand more.
