Donald Trump put an end to speculation over whether or not he would be participating in the next Republican presidential debate.
Speaking to “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday, the GOP front-runner said unequivocally that he will not be partaking in the March 21 debate.
“I thought the last debate on CNN was the last debate,” he told the hosts, adding that he has a speech scheduled on the same day as Fox’s debate.
“I think we’ve had enough debates,” he said. “How many times can the same people ask you the same questions? I was very surprised when I heard Fox called for a debate. Nobody told me about it and I won’t be there, no.”
When asked if there was any chance he’d reconsider, he said he would not break his word to give his scheduled speech.
