The mother of a Benghazi victim slammed Hillary Clinton for her comments during the Democratic debate about the 2012 terror attack.
Pat Smith has maintained that then Secretary of State Clinton told her the attack, which took four American lives including her son Sean Smith, was due to an anti-Islam video. Clinton has denied making the statement, and at the debate, said Smith was “absolutely wrong” for saying she lied.
Smith, who said she was “nose to nose” with Clinton at the funeral service for the victims, denounced the Democratic candidate as  a “proven liar” in an appearance on Fox News’ “The Intelligence Report” on Thursday. Smith accused Clinton of claiming the terror attack was the result of a video even though “she knew full well it wasn’t at that time.”
“They still just go on with their lying little ways saying that I’m the one that’s wrong,” said Smith, noting that neither Clinton nor anyone else in the administration has ever spoken to her. She said she is still waiting for an explanation and wants Clinton to personally tell her why her son is dead.
As for criticism that she is politicizing the event, Smith emotionally fired back that she has no reason to be politically motivated. “I think that as a mother I deserve to know,” she said. “I deserve to know why my son is dead.”
“For God’s sake, let my government tell me the truth,” Smith said, adding that Clinton does “not have the guts” to call her personally and tell her what really happened.
“As Madeleine Albright said, ‘there’s a special place in hell’ for people like her,” Smith said. “And I hope she enjoys it there.”
