Unlikely endorsement announcement embarrassing for ‘wacko bird’ Cruz

Meghan McCain, daughter of moderate Republican Sen. John McCain, is supporting a “wacko bird” for president.

There’s plenty of discussion about how beneficial endorsements are in an election, with the exception being gaining support from the wrong person, which Ted Cruz may soon discover.

The Republican presidential contender earned the backing of former rival Carly Fiorina on Wednesday, which was a respectable get, but that endorsement begot another — Meghan McCain.
