Oblivious Wasserman Schultz says Dems are answer for Flint crisis; critics retaliate with potent truths

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chair of the Democratic National Committee, offered up a confusing solution to the water crisis in Flint.

Apparently forgetting that President Obama, who has been in office during the entire time of the Michigan emergency, is a Democrat, Wasserman Schultz suggested another Democrat in office was the answer.

In a statement released after the Democratic Debate in Flint on Sunday, the Florida Representative criticized Republicans for “barely acknowledging the water crisis.” This apparent disrespect, she said, was “one more example of why we have to elect a Democrat as our next President.”

In other words,

Social media was quick to weigh in on the confusion and slammed the Democratic chairwoman for the discrepancy.

Even Michael Moore weighed in.
