Trump mocks Rubio with water bottle; GOES OFF at Texas rally as crowd goes wild

Instead of talking issues, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump went after rival candidate Sen. Marco Rubio at a rally in Fort Worth, Texas, even going so far as to mock the Florida Republican’s physique.

And the crowd ate it up.

Onstage with Rubio was New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a former GOP presidential rival who withdrew from the race after the New Hampshire primary and endorsed Trump earlier at the same Forth Worth event.

“You should have seen him,” Trump said of Rubio. “He was backstage. He was putting on makeup with a trowel. No, I don’t want to say that. I will not say he was trying to cover up his ears. I will not say that.”

But he just did say that.

“He was just trying to cover up the sweat that pours — I never saw — did you ever see a guy sweat like this?” he asked.

He then reminded his followers that he’d been at the center position for each of the GOP debates.

“So I’m in the middle because I’m number one,” the real estate developer said.

Trump also used the opportunity to mock Rubio’s infamous State of the Union water drinking flub. Grabbing a bottle, Trump opened it, poured some out, and flung it about before tossing it aside. “It’s Rubio!” he shouted.
