Just one day after Vicente Fox used profanity in responding to Donald Trump‘s promise to make Mexico pay for a wall along its border with the U.S., the former Mexican president was at it again.
Appearing on Fox Business Network, the Mexican businessman, who served as his country’s president from 2000-2006, said he was not going to apologize for telling Trump to pay for the “f***ing wall.”
Fox’s comments set off the GOP candidate who demanded an apology in a tweet on Thursday.
FMR PRES of Mexico, Vicente Fox horribly used the F word when discussing the wall. He must apologize! If I did that there would be a uproar!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 25, 2016
Host Maria Bartiromo’s expression said it all as Fox dropped the profanity again in his comments Friday.
“I am not going to pay for that f***ing wall,” he said. “I am not.”
“I’m not going to apologize for all these stupid things we’ve been hearing from him that really have offended Mexico and the Mexican people,” he said, adding that the wall would be “going against your own interests.”
Calling Trump “inconsistent,” “erroneous,” “egocentric” and “arrogant,” Fox said “only those who feel fear build walls.”
Watch the interview, in two segments, in the videos below. The profanity comment appears in the second video at the 5:02 mark.
