A dramatic shootout between a Washington State convenience store clerk and a robber was captured by a security camera and is now taking the nation by storm.
Clerk Seul Lim can be seen showing remarkable courage as she turned the tables on an armed robber in her family’s store last week, grabbing a gun beside the register and engaging in a violent shootout, KIRO 7 reported.
And while struck by a bullet, Lim lived to tell the tale.
The CBS affiliate reported that Lim was struck in the abdomen, but that fortunately the bullet passed through her without striking any vital organs. She was released from the hospital the following day and is now home recovering.
“She’s tough, she’s a tough cookie, yeah,” husband Min Kim said of his wife.

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office arrested the thug, Tyrone Prophet, 23, and his girlfriend shortly after the hold-up, according to KIRO 7. He pleaded not guilty to charges of attempted robbery and first degree assault and was held on $1 million bail.
