Trump runs into big problem with his call to boycott Apple

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has called for a boycott of Apple until it opens the iPhone of one of the San Bernardino terrorists.

But Trump may not have realized how integrated the company is to the daily lives of Americans, including himself.

At a rally in South Carolina on Friday, Trump followed up on his slam of Apple earlier in the week by calling for people to boycott the tech company until it provides the “back door” for the FBI into the phone, which was ordered by a federal judge.

Astute social media users however pointed out that many of Trump’s infamous tweets are sent from his iPhone.

And ABC news reporter John Santucci discovered iPads being used to sell Trump merchandise at one location.

Trump took to social media to explain that he has both an iPhone and a Samsung device and would be using the Samsung until such time as Apple gives in to the government’s demands.
