Doing her part for liberal women everywhere, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour went slumming for Hillary Clinton on Friday.
Wintour declared her support for the candidate by rocking a $45 sequined Hillary Clinton 2016 T-shirt while sitting in the front row of a New York fashion show.
It may be the only time the fashion icon and long-time fan of the Democratic presidential contender would lower herself to wear a T-shirt.
Designed by Marc Jacobs, the shirt is featured on Clinton’s campaign website along with other designer choices.
“My support for Hillary is grounded on our long-standing shared belief in equality,” Jacobs told Vogue. “I am proud to share this T-shirt as a champion for equal rights, for the progress we have made, and for the hope of continued progress with Hillary as president.”
