Starbucks has ticked off the sugar police.
A group called Action on Sugar published a list of sugar-packed drinks on Wednesday that revealed the sweet but dark side of coffee shop favorites.
The report found the most sinfully sweet drink to be the Venti (or 20 oz.) Starbucks “Hot Mulled Fruit Drink – Grape with Chai, Orange and Cinnamon” containing a frightening 99 grams of sugar — or a mere 25 teaspoons.
The responses from social media showed both confusion and disgust.
Who the F orders a Hot mulled fruit drink with grape, chai, orange and cinnamon, anyway?!

Starbucks grape with chai, orange & cinnamon contains 25 sugars, presumably to mask the flavour & kill off the sort of people who order it.

If you’re ordering a Venti Grape with Chai, Orange and Cinnamon Hot Mulled Fruit you have bigger problems than sugar consumption.

If you go to #Starbucks and ask for a ‘venti grape with chai, orange and cinnamon hot mulled fruit’, you’re a twat.

No. If you’re the kind of person to order a “venti mulled fruit chai in a cafe” *you* are the worst offender. pic.twitter.com/dGg8vVJbmw
