Class act! Gary Sinise interrupts Grammys to honor troops

Viewers watching the Grammys Monday night were treated to a welcomed and much needed patriotic moment.

Actor and musician, Gary Sinise is well-known for his tireless efforts to support active duty military and U.S. veterans. True to form, when Sinise presented the Best Country Album award with country singer Cam, he used the opportunity to give thanks to those who make it all possible – our troops.

“I’d like to take one brief second, to send a special thank you and shout-out to the men and women serving our country around the world, who are in harm’s way,” Sinise said.

The moment earned him well deserved accolades:

The feedback was nearly unanimous — Sinise is a total class act.

Very cool. And by the way, for those who didn’t watch the video, Chris Stapleton ended up winning the Best Country Album award.
