Strange news: Kanye West begs Mark Zuckerberg for $1 billion after crying about being in debt by $53m

Kanye West announced on social media Saturday that he is in $53 million worth of debt but he has a solution for his financial woes.

In several tweets Sunday, the outspoken rapper asked Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for a small gift to fund his “Kanye ideas.”

A mere $1 billion.

Hey, at least he was kind enough to mention Zuckerberg’s birthday.

Unfortunately, he was three months early.

What’s more, Kanye kind of made it sound as if Zuckerberg owed him the money.

Interesting that Kanye chose twitter to ask for Zuckerberg’s help and not, I don’t know, maybe Facebook.

When contacted by BBC Newsbeat for comment, Facebook said, “We don’t have anything on this to share at this stage.”

But social media had a ton to say.
