Trump breaks Elton John’s record number at packed Louisiana arena after singer said this about him

It is becoming more and more apparent that Donald Trump is a politician like no other.

On Thursday the Republican presidential candidate spoke at a rally at the River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and broke the facilities attendance record.

Around 12,000 people packed the arena to hear Trump speak breaking the previous record, set by rock star Elton John, by 4,000, according to the Hayride.

It is of particular note that he broke the singer’s record at the arena just days after the musician asked that Trump stop using his songs at rallies in a profanity laced rant, according to the Guardian.

“I don’t really want my music to be involved in anything to do with an American election campaign,” John told the British tabloid. “I’m British. I’ve met Donald Trump, he was very nice to me, it’s nothing personal, his political views are his own, mine are very different, I’m not a Republican in a million years. Why not ask Ted f*****g Nugent? Or one of those f*****g country stars? They’ll do it for you.”

But he who laughs last laughs the loudest as the pictures on social media can attest.
