Rep. Bill Hager invites community to ‘Coffee and Conversations’

Florida Rep. Bill Hager will be hosting a “Coffee and Conversations” event later this month to connect with his constituents.

Hagar, who represents House district 89, was first elected to in 2010, and the voters sent him back for another round in 2014.

Prior to his election to the House, Hager was active in local community affairs, including serving as chairman of the Palm Beach County United Way Fund Raising Committee, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Conference of Christians and Jews of South Florida, and board member and past vice chairman of Boca Raton Community Hospital.

Hagar was awarded Citizen of the Year for the Boca Raton Elks Club as well as the Sun Sentinel’s Excalibur Award for Business Excellence.

He chairs the Joint Committee on Public Counsel Oversight and is vice chairman of the Insurance & Banking Subcommittee. He’s also a member of the Children, Families & Seniors Subcommittee, the Education Committee and the Transportation & Ports Subcommittee.

The event will be in Boynton Beach where constituents and people in the area will be able to meet and speak with him personally as the legislative session continues in Tallahassee. Coffee and refreshments will be provided.

It will be held at the Intracoastal Park Clubhouse: 2240 North Federal Highway, Boynton Beach, FL, on Saturday, February 20 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
