Tagalongs show up in robot costumes to mock Rubio – did Christie hire these guys?

Marco Rubiobots descended on New Hampshire Sunday after Marco Rubio got stuck on replay at the GOP debate the night before.

The senator from Florida has been viciously lambasted after the drubbing he took from N.J. Gov. Chris Christie where he continued to repeat the same talking point four times.

Each time it was some variation of “Let’s dispel this notion that Barack Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing. He knows exactly what he’s doing.”

The robot costumes had “Marco Roboto” and “Rubio Talking Point 3000” written on them respectively.

The costumed men were sent by liberal group American Bridge that describes itself as “a progressive research and communications organization committed to holding Republicans accountable.”

And while everyone got a good laugh out of his repetitiveness, Rubio told George Stephanopoulos during an interview on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday that he would pay to have it repeated even more.

And since his first New Hampshire event after the debate was packed, he may be on to something.
