Trump confirms why he’ll confront Megyn Kelly at next Fox News debate

Donald Trump confirmed Friday that he will participate in the March 3 Fox News debate, and said that the network’s decision to continue to use Megyn Kelly had nothing to do with his decision to skip the Iowa debate.

“I’ll be there,” he told Newsmax TV host Steve Malzberg. “I have no objection to being there. That had nothing to do with Megyn Kelly, the fact that I went out of the last one. That had to do with a memo that was sent out by Fox that was a little bit taunting and I said it was inappropriate.”

“We learned from a secret back channel that the ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president. A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.”

This news should please Kelly, who said on ABC News’ “Good Morning America” that she hoped the real estate magnate would attend.

“It was bizarre because I became the story. He was so very focused on me that I became the story and, you know, you never want to be the story when you’re a news person,” Kelly said of the brouhaha following the first debate.
