Fast food worker’s logic on why she deserves higher pay than a paramedic goes viral

Perhaps nothing better captures the self-absorbed, entitlement mentality many Americans have than the response a fast food worker gives when asked why she deserved to be paid more than a paramedic.

Lakecha Jackson was participating in a “Fight for $15” minimum wage protest — an initiative heavily funded by the Service Employees International Union — when a Fox 2 Detroit reporter hit her with the question, reported.

“Some people say that paramedics don’t even make $15 an hour and they save lives,” the reporter began. “So, why should fast food workers get that?”

(The median annual salary for EMTs and paramedics was $31,700 in 2014, which works out to just over $15 an hour, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.)

Watch Jackson’s response at the 2:42 minute-mark of the video and see if you agree with her logic … or lack thereof:

They want $15.00 an hour to flip burgers? And we wonder why this Country is going to hell in a hand basket. Someone needs to explain to them that their pay is based on entry level, no experience or education needed. Wait until they’re automated right of a job and maybe then they’ll wise up. Unfortunately it will be too late, and they’ll be in the unemployment line getting a fraction of their previous wages. Fools.

You got your free Obama phone, free Obama Care Medical, food stamps! You mean he didn’t buy you a house or pay off your mortgage and he didn’t give you a car. Oh my GOD did you get screwed. You got screwed and the rest of America got F#@ked and we didn’t even get kissed!

They are wanting $15 an hour, plus Union benefits with no Union? What does Union benefits mean to them. I believe everyone should be treated fairly, as well as equally, but where is the end? America has bent over backwards trying to appease everything the Black population wants, paying for their education and then they refuse to go to classes, free food, free housing, all paid for by the American taxpayer. Bussing our kids to schools that are sometimes a couple hours away. Confirmative Action. And on top of all this they come up with BlackLivesMatter, but not White lives, Lining the streets with “FREE OJ” signs since it was two white people he killed, murdering police officers who are just trying to do their jobs when a criminal resists arrest and tries to get the officers gun. And now the topper demonstrating because a black person did not get the Best Actor Award. Will enough ever be enough??
